Getting to Zero: World AIDS Day 2011

World AIDS Day began in 1988 to increase awareness of the disease and its impact on families and communities around the world. While rates of infection have dropped, millions are still impacted by this disease. As announced today by world leaders, the theme for 2011 through 2015 is"Getting to Zero" -- zero new infections, zero discrimination, and zero AIDS deaths by 2015.
