Saving the Mexican Gray Wolf

The Mexican gray wolf once numbered in the thousands of animals throughout much of Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, and Mexico. Today, less than 50 remain in the wild in parts of Arizona and New Mexico.

Wolves are an important keystone species that have huge, beneficial impacts upon the balance of ecosystems and animal populations. After 33 years of Endangered Species Act protection, it remains the most endangered mammal in North America.
