Protect Right Whales' Habitat

At least 75% of right whales have scars from ship strikes and fishing lines, and new threats from energy exploration and military research are putting them in further danger.

Urge the NMFS to expand much-needed protections for the right whale.

Demand Sanctuary for Florida Manatees

The natural springs of Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge's Kings Bay is being overcrowded by manatees seeking refuge from danger and freezing waters.

Tourists flock to this area, with boats, kayaks and snorkeling gear, and will often grab, grope, and harrass these gentle giants. Although manatees are more than friendly, the number of tourists often hinders their ability to gain access to the warmer waters of Kings Bay.

Protect Baby Turtles in Mexico

La Tortuga Viva ("Living Turtle" in Spanish) is a turtle sanctuary in Juluchuca, Guerrero, Mexico. Since 2010, they have hatched and released over 300,000 baby turtles: mostly Olive Ridley turtles (Golfina), as well as Black Turtles and Leatherback turtles, which are considered critically endangered on the IUCN Red List.

You can help. This Gift That Gives More™ helps 100 baby turtles in Mexico hatch and make it safely to their new life in the ocean.

Penguin Dance Party!

If there's one thing that almost everyone can enjoy, it's footage of a large group of waddling penguins cleverly edited to make it appear as if the flightless avians can actually dance. You won't believe the kinds of moves these penguins seem to have!

Save the Military Macaw in Sonora
The Military Macaw is a threatened species of parrot that can be found only in certain forests of Sonora, Mexico, and South America. The only way to truly protect this magnificent bird is to protect its habitat. The Mexican Park Service (CONANP) is ready to establish the range as a biological reserve, but needs a biological inventory to finish the proposal.

You can help. This Gift That Gives More™ helps document thousands of species in Sonora, providing the last piece of the puzzle to establish permanent protection for the forest and the Military Macaws who live there.
