Sterling Turkish Evil Eye Bracelet
Many cultures believe that envy of others can cause harm, whether intentionally or not. To provide protection from negativity and physical harm, "evil eye" protective amulets, also known in Turkey as "Nazar (evil eye) Boncugu (beads)," dangle from car bumpers, are pinned to babies' clothes, are built into the foundations of modern buildings, and guard the doorways of kebab houses.
Our string of eleven "eyes," each of handblown glass and strung along sterling silver, is an accessory with a story!

March 22, 2013 - I bought this to replace one that I wore constantly until it fell apart. This one broke the second day I wore it. The metal around the center bead snapped apart & the bead fell out. Very pretty & I got a lot of positive comments on my first one. I would suggest light wearing and be careful not to snag it on anything because it's fragile.
