These bracelets are brimming with unique design and boisterous color, and have a great story behind them to boot!

Crafted in Burkina Faso from plastic mats -- used for rugs and prayer mats throughout West Africa -- that are routinely discarded on the edge of villages. A group of 4-10 women, lead by area artisan Rose Bere, collect them to make these colorful adornments.

Set of 3 uniquely-colored bracelets in your choice of Purple, Red or Green, or one of each. Exact colors and patterns will vary; please allow us to choose for you.

Bangle bracelets measure approximately 3" dia. (7.6 cm). Handmade in and fairly traded from Burkina Faso, West Africa.

July 3, 2013 - I got three that all looked alike and were not pretty colors like these. However, my 14 year old niece was happy to get them.

June 1, 2013 - They are nice and everything, but the write up says colours and patterns will vary, and they are uniquely coloured. Was somewhat surprised and a tad disappointed to receive them all identical, with no variation whatsoever.

May 26, 2013 - Great set. I kept one and gave other 2 as gifts. Size and fit perfect.

May 25, 2013 - Nice bracelets, fits great! But there was no red in the bracelets.

May 1, 2013 - Great colors and style! Absolutely NO problem with the fit. It slips easily over my adult female hand and they get lots of compliments.
