Natural Banana Fiber Cowl Neck Sweater
The downy caress of banana fiber wool transforms our cowl neck sweater into an opulent pleasure for body and eye. Soft as a whisper in sumptuous earth shades, it marries luxury with environmentally responsible cachet. Handmade to perfection in Nepal.
Banana plants yield delicious fruit and a silky-soft fiber used as a textile throughout the world, especially in Nepal and Japan. Similar to silk, our banana fiber is refined, processed, and skeined by Nepalese women for use in our luxurious clothing.

One of our favorites!
February 13, 2013 - Beautiful sweater - runs a little large, but drapes nicely. The texture really is similar to wool - amazing.
January 5, 2013 - Sweater is great. I have an issue with the size chart however. I think I could have worn a medium. I ordered a large based on the size chart. I find the size charts on many items are often problematic.
