The tree of life, considered by many cultures as a symbol of the interconnectedness of all life, comes alive on our vibrant necklace. Natural, lightweight tagua nut is hand dyed in delectable shades before the symbol is stamped out, creating a truly unique statement for your collection.

Also known as vegetable ivory, Tagua is an ivory-like nut that is sustainably harvested from the rainforests of South America. The nut, once dried, can be cut and shaped into various jewelry pieces and dyed a kaleidoscope of jewel tones -- creating a cruelty-free alternative to real ivory.

  • Tagua with sterling hooks
  • Approximately 1.5" x 1" (3.8 x 2.5 cm)
  • Cord adjustable up to 24" L (61 cm)
  • Handmade in and fairly traded from Colombia

April 24, 2015 - I very much like the pendant, very pretty. I like the cord as I have sensitive skin and the cord does not irritate it the way a chain sometimes can.

April 13, 2014 - The blue tagua nut carving is nice. Don't care for the cord. The pendant is not heavy enough to weight it down to hang straight. Changed to a sterling one.
